Fil-Aussie makes it to “Australia’s Next Top Model” show

A Filipino-Australian made it to the top six of the popular reality television (TV) show “Australia’s Next Top Model” before judges decided to send her home.

Rebecca Jobson used to be one of the favorites of the judges and of local media among the contenders in the reality TV show.

“I think you two are possibly the best walkers we’ve seen today,” remarked one of the show’s judges.

Jobson was also compared several times to famous Australian model Megan Gayle.

However, her popularity among judges suddenly faded after they found out that she was among the models who allegedly bullied a housemate in the same show named Alamela Rowan.

“They made Alamela look a lot more innocent than she was. I would never bully anyone, and I’m really against bullying, and I would never bully anyone just because they’re different,” Jobson explained.

While the judges acknowledged Jobson’s beauty, they commented that she still lacked the confidence to pose in front of a camera.

“I was really upset and I was crying and I was looking at the judges and I was like, ‘please change your mind, don’t make me go’,” she said.

Even though her life is now back to normal after leaving the reality show, she said her dream of becoming a top model is still there.
