After Marian Rivera overshadowed Angel Locsin when she was singled out as denim jeans endorser, Angel returns with a big blow for her. F and H Folded & Hung declared Angel as its new endorser in a big but brief event at the Trinoma Activity Center. Given a club atmosphere, G Force danced while models walked the ramp wearing Folded & Hung fashion. After two rounds, the backdrop opened, Angel emerged wearing body-hugging silver-colored jeans and black raffled top. Broadly smiling, she sashayed, her teeny-weeny above-the-butt tattoo clearly showing. On her second turn, half-naked guys trailed her. She turned back, posed, smiled and waived. When the confetti bombs zoomed, it was all over. Angel made an impression and from she is the top-of-mind Folded & Hung model with Claudine Barretto and Maja Salvador. Marian did not have it this huge!

Breaking buzz: Angel’s after-launch visit to the Folded & Hung store at Trinoma because the organizers feared for her security due to the very heavy turnout of fans. By the way, her billboard showing her topless with both arms covering her boobs is now on display along EDSA.

Umagang Kayganda anniversary celebration destressed todayToday is supposed to be the kick off of Umagang Kayganda weeklong first anniversary celebration but because of the Typhoon Frank disasters, it was destressed and flood & sinking ship news were highlighted. But this is only for today. Tomorrow, 15 Kabuhayan packages will be distributed to selected studio viewers. Appliances will be given away to 100 loyal viewers on Wednesday. The show will launch its Bukas Aklat project that will provide books to four schools in far-flung communities on Thursday. It will also pay tribute to scholars from public universities by giving away laptops and handycams. Fifteen motorcycles will be distributed to hardworking tricycle drivers on Friday. Edu Manzano, Pinky Webb, Donita Rose, Alex Santos, Rica Peralejo, Kim Atienza, Ogie Diaz, Anthony Taberna, Bernadette Sembrano and Winnie Cordero host Umagang Kayganda which airs Mondays to Fridays, 5:15 to 8:30 am on ABS-CBN with simulcast narrowcast on ANC.

Joji Alonso if PMAFC considered depositing viewer mobile phones before entering the viewing area. She answered it was deliberated upon but the Council decided to honor viewers’ right to access their cellphones while viewing a movie. She also clarified this campaign is complimentary to the task of the Optical Media Board as chaired by Edu Manzano. She said, “He’s responsible for CD piracy. The MPAPC is responsible for pirates who steal movies such as videotaping them in moviehouses using mobile phones and video camera.” By the way, It was Atty. Joji who suggested to MPAPC officers to hold the highly successful seminar/workshop.

Are Sunshine and Cesar up for a reconciliationSunshine Cruz appeared live yesterday in The Buzz with legal counsel Atty. Boni Alentajan and told the accusations thrown at her by a sister-in-law were all lies. She denied she threw out her mother-in-law from the house she used to share with Cesar. She said, “Siya lang ang ilan sa nagmamahal sa akin sa pamilya ni Cesar. Bakit ko gagawin sa kanya ‘yun?” She also did not remove the room of Cesar’s eldest daughter Angela. She revealed, “Nandoon pa rin ang kuwarto niya katulad ng kuwarto niya sa bahay sa Bulacan at sa Bohol.” She shared Angela had apologized to her for being influenced by her aunt. She also stated Cesar has sided with her by denying both accusations. She stressed, “This means a lot to me.” She also shared her mother-in-law will not live in the new house Cesar is building unless Sunshine will be with them. For sure, the truth about Sunshine’s separation has come out and she has been vindicated. Are they up for a reconcile?

Fear Factor, a done dealABS-CBN has started to broadcast the Fear Factor teaser. BuzzBox scooped the Kapamilya network had started negotiation for the expensive franchise with Endemol and it looks like it had succeeded in doing so. The Kapuso network will be screening Survivor Philippines and the Kapamilya network better have a similar show. But BuzzBox does not think Fear Factor will have a head-on collision with Survivor Phillipines. There’s no available timeslot at the Kapamilya network. Being a Lauren Dyogi project, he has to wait for Pinoy Dream Academy to wrap up because he can mount Fear Factor. This shows there will be no variant of Pinoy Big Brother this year. PDA’s timeslot had been allocated to Fear Factor. Of course, this can change as determined how competition will turn out.
