TV Ratings (June 24-26): Top-rating “Dyesebel” affirms Marian Rivera’s status as hottest TV star

While Marian Rivera tops the list of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women, Dyesebel continues to dominate the primetime race.
Marian Rivera reaffirms her status as the hottest television star in the country by leading FHM’s list of 100 Sexiest Women for 2008, as announced earlier this evening. Besides this recognition, her fantaserye Dyesebel, continues to dominate the ratings game.
From June 24 to 26, Dyesebel once again topped the primetime race generating a rating of 40-percent plus; the highest was Thursday (June 26) with 43.6 percent.
Three other GMA-7 shows—Joaquin Bordado, Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita, and 24 Oras—also maintained their positions from second to fourth place.
ABS-CBN’s The Singing Bee, hosted by Cesar Montano, also maintains its status as the No. 1 Kapamilya primetime program by consistently placing fifth in the ratings game.
Except for the ABS-CBN Koreanovela Lovers at No. 10, the sixth to ninth positions are being occupied alternately by the following shows: TV Patrol World, Lobo, My Girl, Pinoy Dream Academy, and Dalja’s Spring.
However, expect some changes in the ratings war starting next Monday (June 30) with the arrival of Ako Si Kim Samsoon, replacing Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita, which will end tonight, June 27.
Meanwhile, there was no clear winner for the top spot in the daytime race. In fact, three different shows occupied that position in the last three days: Daisy Siete (Tuesday), Magdusa Ka (Wednesday), and Eat Bulaga! (Thursday).
The new GMA-7 Sine Novela Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan consistently holds the fourth spot.

TV ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen have already been tainted with fraud. Remember the unresolved issue about the alleged conspiracy between AGB and GMA7? According to the witnesses (former station manager of GMA’s Campus Radio in Iloilo also testified), they were asked to locate the panel homes of AGB para sila’y mamumudmod ng cash at grocery items to televiewers just to watch GMA programs. Mula noon, di na talaga kapanipaniwala ang ratings nila. Maski walang ratings naman, you can definitely sense around na ABS-CBN programs ang mas pinapanood, tinatangkilik, at pinag uusapan, right?. ABS-CBN also boasts of top-calibre and more popular talents compared those from GMA. Malay natin, baka manipulated din ang ratings nila sa Mega Manila, that’s why surprisingly, nakalalamang lagi ang mga GMA programs in that particular community. D2 sa cebu, leyte, samar provinces, mas pinapanood talaga ang mga ABS-CBN programs & much talked-about. Although despite this brewing issue of pandaraya by GMA, nananatiling undisputed No.1 pa rin naman ang ABS-CBN nationwide, base na rin sa AGB’s NUTAM surveys. But still, nabahiran na ng pandaraya ang proseso nila. Kaya I humbly urge any blogsite to stop publishing those fraud-tainted and deceiving TV ratings by AGB Nielsen. Very inaccurate & erroneous. Tnks po!
really? shut up, u don’t hav heavy evidences 4 all ur allege against GMA. just don’t read and comment if u dont want to see ABS CBN’s poor ratings ok..
