Marikina cop held for shooting colleague

Police arrested an anti-narcotics agent for allegedly shooting down and nearly killing a fellow policeman in Marikina City, Monday night.

Superintendent Sotero Ramos Jr., Marikina police chief, identified the suspect as Police Officer 3 Ferdinand Brubio.

Ramos said Brubio shot Senior Police Officer 1 Ronald Milla in front of the city police station around 11:20 p.m. The two policemen are members of the Marikina Anti-Illegal Drug Department.

Brubio shot Milla for insulting him, Ramos said. Milla survived the two gunshot wounds suffered on the neck and stomach.

Ramos said charges are being prepared against the suspect.
